My seasons best performance came at this years British Masters Championships in Derby where I took a Silver Medal in the 400m behind Masters 400m World Champion John Wright, in a sub 60s and new PB time of 59.52s. This was one better than my 3rd place in the same event the year before.
I also took a Bronze Medal in the 200m behind Mark Woods and Peter Ilo. Despite a terrible start and blustery wind conditions I finished the race strongly and set a new PB. It was a close finish and in the end only 18/100ths separated the podium positions.
In addition to the medal successes, I had a great day hanging out with John and Peter who are two great guys!
