“There are no restrictions on who can enter masters competitions. It’s fully inclusive and as wide and varied as one can imagine. There are some incredible athletes in their 90s and over who are just inspirational to watch. The training regime, which includes strength training as well as running, brings a healthy discipline to life, and, together with the competitions, opens a whole new world of friendship and mutual respect that enriches life. The feeling of running fast on track is exhilarating, and to do this at our age is such a privilege, not to mention a great physical preparation for the challenges of older years. We’re always trying to persuade friends of our age to come along and share the joy! Why not give it a try yourself? You’re never too old!” Brian Steene

This site was originally established as a blogging site in 2010 to share reflections on my experiences with cars and a range of diverse business topics. The website was transformed into a business website for my consulting business ‘Stuart Lynn Ltd’ in 2017, before being transformed to chronicle my athletics experiences when I retired my consulting business in 2022.
